Incorporate information from Calendar, Tasks, and Keep in your conversations with Gemini Live
Gemini Live now supports in-depth two-way conversations, allowing users to brainstorm and explore ideas. Users can enhance these conversations by visually sharing their screen or camera, and providing context through images, files, or YouTube videos. A key update is the ability to reference Calendar, Tasks, and Keep within Gemini Live conversations. This means users can inquire about their weekly calendar, specific meetings, upcoming or overdue tasks, and content within Keep. Furthermore, Gemini Live can now add, modify, and delete calendar events and tasks. It can also create notes and lists based on conversational context from Keep. Gemini Live is available for users aged 18 and above. For work or school accounts, Gemini Apps Activity must be enabled and cannot be turned off. Admins do not need to enable this feature; it is available by default when the Gemini app is enabled, provided Workspace apps are also turned on. This feature is rolling out to both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains. It is available for various Google Workspace editions including Business, Enterprise, Education, Frontline, and Nonprofits, as well as specific Gemini add-ons.
