Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated he feels betrayed by President Trump in a recent interview. Zelensky expressed his disappointment, especially regarding a US deal to purchase Russian fuel. He feels Trump has chosen a side, moving away from neutrality. This sentiment was amplified by reports of reduced US intelligence sharing with Kyiv. Zelensky also highlighted a lack of typical early warning notices for recent Russian airstrikes. Furthermore, he voiced frustration with SpaceX's imposed speed restrictions on Starlink terminals in Ukraine. Zelensky believes this impacts Ukraine's military communications and could lead to casualties. He suggested the Starlink issue might be a mistake or a technical problem. However, Elon Musk clarified that Starshield systems are controlled by the US government. Musk stated any usage limits are decided by the US military and the President. SpaceX's Starlink, a commercial service, is restricted from offensive military actions. Zelensky's remarks indicate a perceived loss of American support from both Trump and potentially Elon Musk.
