Google Workspace administrators now have more control over external sharing for Gemini Notebook. Previously, only a single on/off toggle existed for the entire organization. The update introduces four granular sharing options to manage external access. These settings are configurable at the domain, organizational unit, or group level. The "Off" setting prevents any external sharing by default. "Trusted Domains" allows sharing only with pre-approved external email domains. The "On" option permits sharing with any external email address. "On with public notebook sharing" enables the creation and distribution of public notebooks via links. Administrators can manage these settings through the Google Workspace Admin console. These new controls are available to all Google Workspace customers.
