Dynamic analysis involves observing malware in a controlled environment, monitoring system and network activity, and unpacking processes. Upon completion, participants will be able to explain malware analysis basics, understand Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), create safe analysis environments, and triage malicious PE files. The curriculum includes detailed modules on both basic static and dynamic analysis techniques. While programming experience is not mandatory, a foundational understanding of binary data and operating systems is recommended.
