MEXC Releases July–August Security Report: Over 38 Million USDT in Risk-Related Funds Intercepted, Futures Insurance Fund Reaches 792 Million USDT

MEXC has released its July-August 2026 security report highlighting significant achievements in user protection. During this period, MEXC successfully intercepted all 215 reports involving risk-related funds, amounting to approximately 38.66 million USDT. This represents a substantial increase in interception success compared to previous periods. The platform also identified and restricted over 20,000 accounts linked to risky activities. MEXC facilitated the return of more than 600,000 USDT in misdirected assets to their rightful owners. The Futures Insurance Fund has grown to 792 million USDT, offering enhanced protection against negative balance risks. Reserve ratios for BTC, ETH, USDT, and USDC all remained above 100%, demonstrating strong asset backing. The crypto industry faced 184 security incidents totaling $535 million, with AI increasingly used in attacks like phishing. MEXC emphasizes its commitment to swift action, cross-platform cooperation, and transparent reporting to safeguard user assets. The company plans to expand its Guardian Fund from $100 million to $500 million to further bolster user protection.
