Pexip has been a long-time interoperability partner for Google Meet, allowing legacy systems to join calls. Now, Pexip Connect for Google Meet hardware expands this relationship. This new integration enables Google Meet hardware to seamlessly join Microsoft Teams meetings. The service is available on both Android and ChromeOS hardware. There is an additional cost associated with using this Pexip offering. The integration supports joining scheduled meetings and ad-hoc calls using a meeting code. Admins can enable this by adding their Pexip customer ID in the Google Meet Hardware settings. End users can then join Teams meetings directly from their Google Meet hardware. Calendar events not originating from Google Calendar may require manual duplication of room details. This feature will begin a gradual rollout starting September 30, 2025, and is available to eligible Google Workspace and G Suite customers.
