Military Analyst Warns US Doesn't Have Enough Tomahawks To Send To Ukraine
Despite potential US Tomahawk missile transfers to Ukraine, analysts believe the impact on the war's trajectory will be limited. The US arsenal of Tomahawks is reportedly not as robust as it once was, complicated by multiple global commitments. Out of over 4,000 Tomahawks, only a few dozen could be realistically spared for Ukraine. The US military has already expended a significant number of these missiles in recent operations. Experts estimate that Washington could provide Ukraine with roughly 20 to 50 Tomahawks. While these missiles could complement Ukraine's existing capabilities, they wouldn't enable sustained, deep attacks against Russia. The potential transfer is occurring amidst heightened US military activity near Venezuela and support for Israel. Russia has warned that supplying Tomahawks to Ukraine would be a dangerous escalation. The potential risk of further escalation with Russia remains a major concern.
