NASA Eyes Popular PC Hardware Performance Tool for Its Flight Simulators

NASA Langley is seeking approval to integrate the PC gaming benchmarking tool CapFrameX into its flight simulators. This move allows the agency to monitor performance data within its custom-built cockpit simulators. NASA uses these simulators, which replicate aircraft cockpits precisely, to train test pilots before they fly experimental planes like the X-59.
