During a briefing just before the war's commencement, Netanyahu allegedly presented inaccurate predictions about the conflict's potential outcomes. These included forecasts about imminent regime change in Iran and the rapid disabling of its missile program. He also wrongly predicted Iran's inability to disrupt the Strait of Hormuz or launch significant strikes on US interests. In response, Iran's Foreign Minister described Netanyahu's remarks as bragging about manipulating the US into war. He accused Netanyahu of openly boasting about influencing America through repeated television appearances.
