Gemini Notebook has been updated to offer a more personalized and powerful learning experience. A new audio recorder in the mobile app allows users to capture lectures or thoughts on the go, directly linked to their sources for easy citation. Users 18 and older can now engage in real-time conversations with their notebooks in nearly 100 languages, receiving grounded, step-by-step guidance. Interactive learning overviews have been introduced under Reports, combining summaries with studio outputs like quizzes and mind maps to aid focus. Exam preparation tools are enhanced with new quiz formats, including short answer and fill-in-the-blank options. Users can now chat about their quiz and flashcard performance to identify areas for improvement. Quizzes and flashcards offer customization by adding or editing questions. Short Video Overviews, available in over 80 languages, can be created and shared, simplifying complex concepts with narrative and animations. These features are rolling out to users with Gemini Notebook enabled and are available to all Google Workspace customers and personal Google account users. Admins can manage these features, while end users have no specific settings to adjust.
