A recent survey highlighted significant divides between young men and women, with Gen Z women showing more pessimism and negativity towards men than vice versa. Specifically, only a third of women under 25 hold positive views of men, suggesting potential societal conditioning. Concurrently, the identification with LGBTQ+ identities is increasing significantly, particularly among young adults.The percentage of U.S. adults under 30 identifying as LGBTQ+ has nearly quadrupled since 2012. There is a notable gender gap, with over 31% of women aged 18-29 identifying as LGBTQ+ compared to just over 11% of men in the same age group. Bisexuality constitutes the largest segment of the LGBTQ+ population, but the term "heteroflexible" is also gaining considerable traction. Heteroflexibility describes individuals who are primarily heterosexual but experience attraction to the same sex occasionally.Some experts estimate that 15% of the U.S. population identifies as heteroflexible, and one dating app reported a 193% increase in users identifying this way in a single year. These shifts in societal views on gender and sexuality indicate that America has become vastly different from past decades.
