Paul Pelosi Faces Charges In Napa County Hit-And-Run
Paul Pelosi, husband of Rep. Nancy Pelosi, is facing misdemeanor charges for a hit-and-run incident in Napa, California. He allegedly struck a parked car on Yount Street in Yountville and then drove away. A witness reported seeing his brown convertible hit the vehicle and then continue on. Deputies located Pelosi a short distance away, with his car showing damage consistent with the collision. Pelosi told investigators he knew he hit something but was unsure of what or when. No injuries were reported, and alcohol was not a factor in this incident. He received a misdemeanor citation for fleeing the scene, and the case is being reviewed by the district attorney. The DMV is also evaluating his driving privileges. This follows a previous DUI arrest in May 2022, for which he was convicted. A family spokesperson stated that Mr. Pelosi has apologized and will take responsibility for the damage. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
