Paybis, a global crypto exchange, has launched four new local payment methods for buying cryptocurrency in Europe. Customers in the Netherlands can now use iDEAL, Poland has BLIK, Portugal uses Multibanco, and Austria offers EPS. These methods eliminate the need for card details, allowing payments directly through banking apps or payment references. This initiative marks the first wave of thirteen local payment options Paybis plans to introduce. These payment systems are widely used and scalable within their respective countries. For instance, BLIK boasts millions of active users in Poland, and iDEAL processes a significant percentage of online purchases in the Netherlands. The Multibanco network is extensive across Portugal, and EPS is available in numerous Austrian online shops. Paybis aims to simplify crypto transactions by integrating familiar local payment experiences. Customers can purchase over 90 cryptocurrencies, including popular ones like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The company's CEO emphasized the importance of catering to diverse European payment preferences. This expansion is part of Paybis's broader strategy to offer more than 30 payment methods globally. Future additions include payment options for Belgium and Italy, followed by Scandinavian and Eastern European methods. Paybis, established in 2014, also provides a cryptocurrency exchange, wallet, and payment infrastructure for businesses.
