Point-in-time editing now available in Google Vids

Google Vids has introduced point-in-time editing to enhance the video creation experience. This new feature ensures the editing canvas precisely matches the video timeline at any given moment. Previously, the canvas showed all scene elements simultaneously, regardless of their timing. Now, editors will only see elements active at the specific timestamp being edited, reducing visual clutter. This provides a true "what you see is what you get" editing workflow. The canvas dynamically updates as the timeline is scrubbed, displaying only active elements. Users can also click on timeline tracks to move the playhead directly. This eliminates the need to split scenes for managing timed objects, simplifying layered content creation. Point-in-time editing is the default and automatically enabled for all users.
