Pro-Palestine Protesters Swarm Outside The New York Stock Exchange

A group of pro-Palestinian protesters, including members of the far-left "Jewish Voice for Peace" group, swarmed the New York Stock Exchange in Lower Manhattan to demand an end to Israel's war in Gaza against Hamas and to denounce war profiteering by US defense firms like Raytheon and Lockheed Martin. The activists failed to realize that the NYSE is now a TV studio, and the real New York Stock Exchange moved to New Jersey 15 years ago. The group chained themselves to doors and fences as part of their "direct action" protest. They also dressed the 'Fearless Girl' statue in front of NYSE with a shirt that read: "Stop Arming Israel." The protest was conducted on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish year, and on Indigenous Peoples Day. The activists were dragged away by the NYPD. The protest did not shut down the NYSE, as most market trades are made by algorithms, not traders standing on the NYSE floor.
