Programmatic comment and sugge... Note

Programmatic comment and suggestion support now available in the Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides APIs

Developers can now programmatically manage comments in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides through their APIs. Google Docs API now also supports suggested edits, enabling automated tools to propose changes for user review. This integration allows organizations to connect internal review workflows and content pipelines directly to Google Workspace editors. The Docs API enables programmatic comment management and the submission of text changes as suggestions. Similarly, the Sheets API allows for programmatic comment management on specific cells. The Slides API facilitates programmatic comment management on individual slides and presentation elements. Programmatic comment support within the Model Context Protocol servers is currently in developer preview. This feature is available to all Google Workspace customers and personal Google account users. Admins do not have specific controls for this feature, but can manage app access to Workspace data. End users cannot directly enable or disable this feature, but can manage app connections to their Google account.
