Kattni has been appointed as the new Co-Chair and future Chair of PyCon US. She brings extensive experience from her work with CircuitPython and BeeWare. Kattni has also served as the Conference Chair for PyOhio since 2024. She is eager to contribute her decade of Python community organizing experience to PyCon US. Kattni views the people as the most important aspect of PyCon US, emphasizing connection and community growth. Her goal is to foster diverse perspectives and enhance memorable experiences for all attendees. She highlights the collaborative effort required to make PyCon US a success. This includes the contributions of organizers, volunteers, speakers, and attendees. Kattni is excited to work with Jon and the entire PyCon US team over the next four years. PyCon US 2027 will take place in Long Beach from May 12-18, and more details will be shared soon.
