Python Software Foundation: Affirm Your PSF Membership Voting Status

All voting-eligible Python Software Foundation (PSF) members must affirm their membership to participate in the upcoming Board and Python Packaging Council (PPC) elections. The deadline to affirm your intention to vote is Tuesday, August 25th, at 2:00 pm UTC. Voting itself will commence on Tuesday, September 1st, and conclude on Tuesday, September 15th, both at 2:00 pm UTC. Members should have received an email from [email protected] with instructions on how to affirm their voting status. If this email was not received, members should contact [email protected] or [email protected] for assistance. Communication preferences regarding these elections can be managed on psfmember.org by updating profile settings. To affirm voting intention, members must log into psfmember.org, navigate to the "Voting Affirmation" page, and select their preferences. Membership status can also be checked on psfmember.org under the "Your Memberships" or "PSF Member User Information" pages. The affirmation process is required by PSF bylaws to ensure election quorum, which is crucial for election validity. Members who voted in the previous year will automatically be added to the 2026 voter roll, unless they changed their contact information. Eligible members will receive ballots via email from OpaVote around September 1st.
