Python Software Foundation: Python Developers Survey 2023 Results

The seventh Python Developers Survey, a collaboration between the Python Software Foundation and JetBrains, surveyed over 25,000 Python developers globally from November 2023 to February 2024. The survey aimed to map the Python landscape, covering general Python usage, purposes, versions, frameworks, libraries, cloud platforms, data science, development tools, Python packaging, and demographics. The survey results provide insights into the current state of the Python language and ecosystem. The survey also includes methodology and raw data for further analysis. Developers are encouraged to share their findings and feedback using the #pythondevsurvey hashtag and mentioning JetBrains and PSF on social media. Feedback from the previous year's survey was used to improve the 2023 survey, and suggestions for further improvement are welcome.
