The Gemini app now allows users of all ages to generate quizzes for any subject using Canvas. This feature enables students to create their own study aids and educators to prepare class materials. To use it, users can upload documents or provide a text prompt. There are no administrative controls for this feature. End users can find detailed instructions in the Help Center. Connecting Google Workspace apps via Extensions is necessary for Google Drive file uploads. The rollout will be rapid, starting September 17, 2025. This functionality is available across various Google Workspace editions, including Business, Enterprise, and Education tiers. It is also accessible with Google AI Pro and Ultra, and previously with Gemini Business and Enterprise add-ons.
