Rand Paul Should Make Fauci Answer For Wuhan And BeagleGate Lies
Dr. Anthony Fauci is scheduled to testify before Senator Rand Paul's committee. This hearing represents a key chance to obtain answers after years of alleged evasions and misrepresentations. President Biden recently granted Fauci a pardon, covering a decade and significantly reducing the risk of criminal charges for past offenses. This pardon limits Fauci's ability to invoke the Fifth Amendment regarding self-incriminating testimony. Senator Paul plans to question Fauci on three specific falsehoods he has repeatedly made.Firstly, Paul will press Fauci on his repeated denials of funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Evidence, including internal government emails and the admission by the acting NIH Director, suggests NIH did fund such research. Secondly, Fauci will be asked about his claims of not using personal email for official business. Investigations have uncovered instances where Fauci indicated he would use his personal Gmail for correspondence. Furthermore, Fauci's advisor was also implicated in using personal email for sensitive communications. Finally, Senator Paul intends to revisit the "BeagleGate" scandal concerning animal testing. Fauci had previously dismissed these claims as false conspiracies and lies. However, documents obtained by White Coat Waste have revealed the funding of brutal dog experiments, including those with drugged beagles and sand flies. Even The Washington Post has acknowledged the NIH's lack of transparency in handling this issue. This upcoming hearing may be the final significant opportunity for direct confrontation and clarification on these matters.
