Record audio, video, and screencasts directly in Google Classroom

The new feature allows teachers and students to record directly within Classroom, enhancing communication. Admins have no control over this feature, and student usage of announcement features depends on teacher settings. The rollout starts on January 29, 2026, with an extended rollout period. This feature is available to Google Workspace Education Plus and Teaching and Learning add-on users.
