Google Chat on the web now integrates Gemini to help refine composed messages. This feature enhances clarity, conciseness, and accuracy in wording, grammar, and spelling. It is particularly beneficial for important messages, communications to senior stakeholders, or when writing in a second language. Users can send messages with increased confidence and clarity. Administrators will find this feature is enabled by default for eligible users, with controls available in the Help Center. End users can access the "Refine" option from the formatting toolbar or a floating toolbar after highlighting text. The rollout begins on September 23, 2025, for Rapid Release domains and October 7, 2025, for Scheduled Release domains. This functionality is available for various Google Workspace editions, including Business and Enterprise tiers. It is also accessible for Google AI Pro and Ultra users, and those who previously purchased Gemini Business and Enterprise add-ons. The Gemini Business and Enterprise add-ons are no longer available for new purchases as of January 15, 2025.
