Report Claims Iranian Jet Bombed American Base In Kuwait At War's Start

Iranian attacks have inflicted significantly more damage on US bases across the Middle East than publicly acknowledged by the Trump administration. The administration has attempted to conceal the extent of this damage, even requesting satellite imagery companies to black out relevant war images. The Pentagon has also withheld information from Congress regarding the damage. Iranian missile and drone attacks have targeted US bases in seven Middle Eastern countries, including a notable incident where an Iranian F-5 fighter jet bombed Camp Buehring in Kuwait, marking the first such enemy fixed-wing aircraft strike on a US military installation in many years. This F-5, an Iranian version of US-supplied aircraft, penetrated existing air defenses. Another drone attack in Kuwait killed six US Army Reserve soldiers and injured over 20 at an unprotected facility. The Pentagon has confirmed 13 US soldier deaths and over 400 injuries in the conflict. Many US military bases in the region, particularly in Kuwait, are reportedly uninhabitable due to the extensive damage. The headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain also sustained serious damage. The American Enterprise Institute estimates over 100 targets across 11 bases were hit, with repairs costing at least $5 billion, not including destroyed equipment.
