Republican Lawmakers Move On Legislation To Build And Fund Trump's $400 Million Ballroom
Following a security breach at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Republican lawmakers immediately rallied to push for President Trump's proposed $400 million White House ballroom. The incident led to Trump's evacuation from the dinner after a security threat. Republicans, citing the need for increased security, argued for expedited approval of the ballroom's construction.
