Google Play Protect also offers live threat detection with real-time alerts to protect users from malware and unsafe apps, focusing on stalkerware and potentially expanding to other harmful apps in the future. These features are designed to protect users without collecting data and are currently available on Pixel 6+ devices, with plans to expand to other Android devices soon.
