Salad and Go is closing 32 stores across Texas and Oklahoma, marking a complete exit from these states by January 11. This closure will affect approximately 600 employees. The company is also shutting down its Dallas headquarters and plans to relocate to Phoenix. Salad and Go, founded in 2013, specializes in affordable, healthy drive-through and grab-and-go options. The chain initiated aggressive expansion in 2022 but has since been reducing its retail presence, previously closing 41 stores in September 2025. Moving forward, Salad and Go will concentrate its operations in Arizona and Nevada. CEO Mike Tattersfield stated the decision aims to strengthen core operations and focus on food quality and guest experience. The closures are attributed to the economic strain of an ambitious expansion and a large central kitchen in Dallas. Tattersfield acknowledged neglecting the Arizona market during the previous expansion phase. The company expressed gratitude to its departing Texas and Oklahoma teams and communities.
