This agreement allows farmers, ranchers, and small businesses a direct channel to report regulations that increase costs and reduce productivity. A centralized USDA portal will collect these lawfare complaints involving federal agencies. The SBA's Office of the National Ombudsman will analyze this data to identify patterns of regulatory abuse. This initiative aims to guide deregulatory reforms and reduce burdensome legal battles. SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler stated this allows producers to focus on their work of feeding and fueling America. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins emphasized that Washington will now stand with, not against, these hardworking Americans through this partnership. The agreement aligns with President Trump's executive order promoting deregulation by eliminating excessive regulations. Recent Trump administration actions include clarifying farmers' right to repair their equipment and removing the Diesel Exhaust Fluid sensor requirement for diesel equipment to save farmers billions annually.
