Siri, could you build me an app?

Apple Intelligence has integrated Siri more deeply with iOS, allowing it to interact with apps on the screen. AI assistants are evolving to use multiple apps and websites, creating workflows that automate tasks, fill knowledge gaps, and provide predictions. To leverage this potential, developers need to design apps that are AI-friendly, following Human Interface Guidelines and using consistent icons and UI elements. As AI becomes faster, apps should focus on providing data and user flows that are useful for AI workflows. This may lead to standardization in app design, but it also enhances predictability and focuses users on content. By sharing apps with AI and making them relevant to common scenarios, designers can contribute to a transitional period towards more advanced, interactive, and personalized AI experiences.
