Discovery+ has implemented a price increase for new subscribers. The ad-free plan now costs $12 per month, up from $10. The ad-supported plan has also risen to $7 per month from $6. These changes are effective immediately for new subscribers to the streaming service. Current subscribers will see the new pricing take effect after receiving 30 days' notice, starting with bills issued on or after November 12. Discovery+ focuses on unscripted content such as reality shows and documentaries. A Skydance spokesperson stated that the pricing adjustments were planned before the merger with Warner Bros. Discovery. They also mentioned that Discovery+'s prices are regularly reviewed to align with its content and user experience. This marks the third price increase for Discovery+ since its launch in 2012. Previously, prices were adjusted in January 2025.
