Sweden has signed a significant defense agreement with France, acquiring four Naval Group frigates for 4.3 billion euros. This deal, finalized on August 31st in Stockholm, was attended by the leaders of both France and Sweden. The frigates, a type already in service with French and Greek navies, will be built in France and delivered starting in 2030. These vessels are designed for advanced air and anti-submarine warfare, and will be equipped with a mix of French, Swedish, and other allied weaponry.
