Google Workspace Updates

Teachers will soon be able to create a new class in Google Classroom using Student Information System (SIS) data

Google Classroom will soon introduce a "full class" import feature, allowing teachers to set up classes using information directly imported from their Student Information System (SIS). This includes co-teachers, student rosters, grading categories, and periods. To prepare, admins should connect Classroom to their SIS as soon as possible. Once connected, teachers will be able to use the connection to import data and set up new or update existing classes. This feature will be available in the coming weeks for Google Workspace: Education Plus and the Teaching & Learning Upgrade. Resources are available in the Google Help Center for admins and end users.
