Retro tech is gaining popularity, with the iPod being the latest addition to the trend. The L.A.-based design collective Drought has created the iMirror, a 5-foot-tall iPod Nano replica with a mirror instead of a screen. The iMirror comes in six colors and retails for $375. It will be released in a limited run of 200 today at 3 p.m. ET. Drought founder Jake Olshan was inspired by his own nostalgia for the iPod. The iMirror is designed to appeal to those who grew up with the iPod and to younger people who appreciate its nostalgic appeal. The iMirror features a stainless steel power button and frosted-glass text accents, including the phrase "Find Yourself" and a battery icon. The iPod button's up arrow has been replaced with the word Drought. Olshan believes the iMirror will become a piece of home decor and art that pays homage to the iPod and allows future generations to learn about its significance.
