This one statistic reveals the AI job takeover has started

Artificial intelligence is increasingly appearing in job listings across various industries, not just in tech. Recent data shows a significant rise in job postings mentioning AI, with a third increase observed in just four years. This skill is now being sought after in fields like sales, HR, legal services, and customer support, beyond its traditional presence in software and data roles. In multiple countries, the majority of AI-related job titles are now found outside of tech occupations. This trend highlights how AI is fundamentally altering existing job functions rather than solely creating new roles. For instance, job titles now include AI integration for physical therapists and real estate agents. The integration of AI is also impacting career progression, as previously essential entry-level skills are now handled by AI. Consequently, entry-level positions are diminishing, leading some college graduates and white-collar workers to seek blue-collar employment. While AI's importance across industries is undeniable, the workforce has not yet fully adapted to this technological shift. Spain stands out as an exception, with AI-related job titles still predominantly concentrated within tech roles.
