'Toxic Indoctrination': Dept Of War Cuts Fellowships At 13 'Elite' Universities

The U.S. Department of Defense is canceling military education fellowships at thirteen top universities, citing concerns about "toxic indoctrination". The DoD is eliminating Senior Service College programs in 2026-2027 and replacing them with programs at different institutions. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated that the Ivy League has become a factory of anti-American sentiment, promoting "wokeness and weakness." He believes these universities undermine the values military officers are sworn to uphold. The decision aims to eliminate "woke indoctrination" and replace it with a more rigorous education. The affected universities include Tufts, Georgetown, and Brown, among others. Officers currently enrolled can complete their studies. The DoD is also ending partnerships with seven non-profit organizations. Potential replacement schools include Liberty University and Hillsdale College. This action follows the DoD's previous decision to sever ties with Harvard University due to its perceived "woke" stance.
