NotebookLM is introducing a new feature called Data Tables designed to organize and analyze information from source materials in a structured format. This feature addresses the difficulty of manually compiling scattered facts by automatically synthesizing sources into clean, structured tables. These tables can then be exported to Google Sheets for further use. Data Tables offer various applications, such as creating study tables for exams, organizing meeting action items, comparing competitors, streamlining curriculum mapping, and synthesizing clinical trial outcomes. The feature will be accessible to users of all ages. There are no specific admin controls required for this feature, but administrators can manage NotebookLM access through the Help Center. End users can learn how to generate data tables by visiting the Help Center. The rollout will be gradual, taking up to 15 days for feature visibility across Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains. Data Tables are available for a wide range of Google Workspace editions, including business, education, and frontline plans, as well as Google AI Pro for Education and nonprofits. Resources are provided for organizing insights and managing NotebookLM settings.
