Professionals are leveraging Gemini in Chrome to enhance their productivity through various AI tasks. This eliminates the need to re-enter prompts repeatedly across different web pages and documents. Users can access these saved prompts with a single click, saving time spent on prompt engineering. This feature empowers users to concentrate on high-impact work rather than repeated prompting. Admins have no specific control over the skills feature, it's enabled by default for users with Gemini access. To use the skills feature, users can access Gemini in Chrome by clicking the designated icon within the browser. The rollout of the skills feature started on April 14, 2026, with an extended rollout period. This feature is available for eligible Google Workspace editions, including Business, Enterprise, and Education plans.
