Google Meet introduces multi-lingual support for "Take notes for me," recorded captions, and meeting transcripts. Users can set their preferred language in the calendar invite or during mobile meetings. This feature is rolling out gradually until April 23rd, 2025. iOS and Android app version requirements are specified. Admins can control note-taking access for their users, but not captions. The "Take notes" feature is available for various Google Workspace plans and add-ons. Transcript access extends to a wider range of plans, including Education and Individual subscriptions. Recorded captions are also widely available across numerous Google Workspace plans. Helpful resources are provided for admins and end-users. The rollout will be completed within 15 days.
