Google is launching Admin Assist, a new feature for Google Workspace Business editions. Admin Assist incorporates two Gemini-powered capabilities: the Sidepanel and Search Overviews. These tools aim to simplify administrative tasks and troubleshooting within the Google Admin Console. Administrators can now access contextual support directly within the console. The Sidepanel, available on most Admin Console pages, offers step-by-step guidance and best practices. Search Overviews proactively provide synthesized answers from Help Center articles when users search. This feature acts as a personal technical co-worker for Super Admins. Admin Assist is enabled by default for Super Admins with eligible Business editions. Delegated Admins and end-users do not have access to this feature. The rollout is complete for both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains.
