Use Help me schedule to easily set up a meeting time over email
Scheduling meetings has become more efficient with the new Gemini-powered "Help me schedule" feature in Gmail. This feature aims to simplify the process of coordinating meeting times, especially with external contacts. When Gmail detects scheduling intent in an email, a "Help me schedule" button appears in the toolbar. Clicking this button activates Gemini to suggest meeting slots based on your Google Calendar availability and the email's context. These suggested times can be customized, allowing you to add or remove options. You can then insert these suggested times directly into your email. Once the recipient selects a time, a calendar invite is automatically created for both parties. Initially, this feature focuses on scheduling between two individuals only. It will be enabled by default for eligible users, and admins have access to manage Gemini features. The feature rollout begins on October 13, 2025, for Rapid Release domains and around October 28, 2025, for Scheduled Release domains. It's available for specific Google Workspace editions like Business and Enterprise. Further details and resources are available on Google's Help Center. This innovative feature aims to streamline scheduling and save time.
