Harris has also falsely described President Biden as "absolutely authoritative" and "very bold and vibrant," despite his physical and mental challenges. Harris's latest claim is that Trump is a "fascist," "dictator," and "unfit" for office, but this will not stop her campaign's decline. The election is seen as a conflict between two opposing visions: Trump's 2017-2020 record of border security, low inflation, and a strong military, versus the Biden-Harris 2021-2024 record of unchecked immigration, high inflation, and regional wars. Harris has recently flipped on several issues, now supporting a secure border, more police funding, and increased defense spending. However, voters are unlikely to be swayed by Harris's sudden changes, especially given her previous support for unpopular policies. Harris's claims that Trump is a fascist and insurrectionist also lack credibility, given her own past support for violent protests and the Obama and Biden-Harris administrations' use of government agencies to interfere in elections.
