Google Chat usage metrics are now accessible to admins within the Gemini reports dashboard. This new feature provides organization-level insights into active Gemini users in Google Chat. Admins can track usage trends and identify which users benefit most from Gemini's summarization and generation capabilities. Furthermore, at the user level, admins can monitor individual Gemini adoption rates. The dashboard will reflect updated metrics due to changes in how some Gemini summarization interactions in Chat are now categorized as "Active." These changes are initiated by the user when they start an interaction. This means admins may observe fluctuations in reported active users and overall Chat usage. For administrators, more information is available in the Help Center regarding Gemini reports. End users do not require any action or will experience any impact from this update. The Gemini reports dashboard is now available for both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains.
