A brand-new 24-meter superyacht named Dolce Vento tragically sank minutes after its launch. The incident occurred earlier this week in the Ereğli district of Zonguldak, Turkey. Medyılmaz Shipyard was the builder of the luxury motor yacht. Within approximately fifteen minutes of its maiden voyage, the yacht encountered a stabilization issue. This led to the vessel taking on water. Subsequently, the Dolce Vento capsized and sank into the sea. At the time of the launch, the owner, captain, and two crew members were reportedly on board. Construction of the 160 GT motor yacht began in 2024. The Dolce Vento featured a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. The owner's identity has not been disclosed.
