What Is Wall Street's Favorite Christmas Song

Deutsche Bank's annual surveys reveal popular Christmas tunes and end-of-year entertainment choices among finance professionals. Last year's survey focused on Christmas movies, with Home Alone, Die Hard, and Love Actually topping the list. This year, the focus shifted to favorite Christmas songs, sparking renewed debate. Globally, Wham!'s song was voted the best, while Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas is You" dominated in the US, Asia, and the Rest of the World. Jim Reid, who compiled the survey, shared his personal top three Christmas songs: Wham!, The Pogues, and Joni Mitchell's "River." Reid also listed his favorite TV series of 2025, highlighting "Slow Horses" as the best. Other top TV shows included "Dept Q," "Blue Lights," and "SAS Rogue Heroes." His favorite film of the year was "The Ballad of Wallis Island," described as life-affirming and quirky. Florence and the Machine's "Everybody Scream" was named Reid's favorite album. Deutsche Bank also published an "Ultimate Guide to Long-Term Investing" for readers seeking financial guidance.
