"Will Bring Country To Halt": Far-Left NGOs Prepare To Mobilize Children As 'Ice Out' Protesters

Far-left nonprofits, reportedly linked to financier Neville Roy Singham, are planning a nationwide "ICE Out of Everywhere" protest on Friday, January 30th. These organizations are mobilizing student groups from Minnesota, including Black and Somali student organizations, to participate. The planned action is described as a coordinated general strike aimed at causing economic disruption. This follows recent fatal shootings of protesters by federal immigration agents in Minneapolis. The Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) is actively promoting the event, calling for a day of "no work, no school, no shopping" to "shut it down." PSL views the recent Minnesota protests as a model for nationwide action against ICE. Activist Linda Sarsour has stated that these protests "will bring this country to a halt." Other key organizers include the People's Forum, BreakThrough News, Code Pink, and the ANSWER Coalition. The protests are seen by some as exploiting public outrage to sow chaos. Concerns are also being raised about the potential for a "protest-industrial complex" in warmer weather. The financier Neville Roy Singham is reportedly facing a House subpoena regarding alleged ties between his NGO network and the Chinese Communist Party.
